Let's travel!
Visit different spots in Hanoi city and sit down to brew a cup of coffee.
Making a cup of coffee in Vietnam is a whole process that you barely have free time in the middle. But it's also not a really complicated task to start the day with.
First, we need a perfect set of filter and coffee, the right filter and the right coffee. We will brew coffee together, step by step. Brewing is not hard, it's just busy.
Then I will show you how different our coffee is compare to the rest. How it combines with our special filter to make a perfect pair.
The most fascinating part of the coffee making is "the waiting time", which we will experience what it's like to be in a Vietnamese Coffeeshop. And of course, admire the view of Vietnam.

Last but not least, COFFEE APPRECIATION.
Enjoying a good cup of coffee can be much more if you have someone to guide you through it.
Vietnamese coffee usually really strong, so you might be overwhelmed. Don't worry, with my instruction, hopefully you can see all the layers in a sip of Vietnamese coffee, to find out why it's highly addictive.

Hi,
I’m Hoang, a local guide in Hanoi city. This city is the center of culture in Vietnam, where every place has lots of stories to tell.
Let's walk somewhere and brew a cup of coffee together.

I was born and raised in Hanoi City, the heart of Coffee Culture in Vietnam. So I love coffee by default. My dad taught me how to brew coffee when I was 6 and since then, never stop brewing. Becoming a guide helped me a lot in improving my coffee brewing skills. I got to know more about the culture and got tips anywhere in Vietnam, from other coffee lovers. And now Im ready to share my passion to all you you, my fellow travelers and coffee lovers.
LETS HANG-OUT A WHILE WITH A VIEW!

For an hour we did not feel trapped by Covid. We were able to experience a little bit of Vietnamese culture and it can’t wait to travel to Vietnam in the future.

This was fun. I did it with a friend who was in another state. I contacted Hoang before I registered and he told me exactly what to get. Even though I need more practice, my coffee tasted great. Hoang was very knowledgeable and nice. It was such a good escape for an hour.

Wow. Just wow. Hòang took our private group to the staircase rice fields of Sapa in the Northern Mountains of Vietnam. It was a bucket-list worthy tour with a tour guide I will follow wherever he travels. As my friend put it, "I love Hòang's tours. His sense of humor is so great. He is the best." Amazing.

I bought this airbnb for my wife who loves Vietnamese coffee. We were both blown away by the experience. Hoâng is very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about the culture of Vietnamese coffee and hearing stories of how the egg coffee and vietnamese drip coffee came to be. If you are a fan of culture or coffee, I'd recommend this experience!

Coffee is brewed in myriad settings around the world, but none more magical than on a folding table on the banks of an urban lake glittering with the nighttime city lights of Hanoi, Vietnam. That is where Hoang, an outgoing local resident and coffee expert, introduced us to the unique history, culture and preparation of Vietnamese coffee via Zoom. He taught us that Vietnamese coffee is an indulgence to be savored, not rushed. In fact, Hanoi coffee afficionados patiently wait for the brew to fall drip by drip through a traditional metal coffee filter, resulting in a dark, rich, heady cup with waves of flavor. Hoang patiently demonstrated the brewing process so that we could brew our own Vietnamese coffee at home 8,000 miles away. In addition, he shared background on Vietnam’s coffee growing regions and personal anecdotes about how he and other Hanoi residents enjoy their beloved brew. The hour ended all too soon, but we came away with a new friend and a newfound appreciation for his country’s distinctive coffee.

Having Robusta Coffee Beans is a must. The taste of Vietnamese coffee can't be found in Arabica Beans.
