Vad du kommer att göra

We will will meet at Poets Walk - near by trail that is inspired by artists and poets of the HUdson Valley and beyond.

This trail is a scenic 2 mile loop with various look outs and places to sit and meditate through out the grounds.

We will begin together at the head of the trail to review the guidance on breathing practices for you walk and a focus for your medicine.

With social distance and mask requirements if this area you are expected to also practice compassion :) While together masks are requested and once we begin and we choose to separate at least 6 feet apart from each other - you may remove your mask to fully breathe in the mountain air and relax - please be mindful of others on the trail as well.

Once we arrive to our designated meditation spot ( a gazebo overlooking the water and woods ). You will be guided through gentle physical movement to prepare for a guided meditation.

Beginners are encouraged and seasoned meditators are encouraged to practice what you know and deepen your awareness.

As part of your meditation practice you will receive a healing gemstone picked just for you and your intentions. You will be given instructions on usage and care for you to take with you on your meditation journeys.

Upon returning to the beginning of the trail space is given to talk about your meditation and receive a healing Reiki charge as our good bye. Namaste!
Other things to note
This scenic park is a hidden gem in the Hudson valley over looking the Hudson River. The trail is well maintained but please dress appropriately for the outdoors and check the weather just in case! You may contact me anytime with questions Please wear a mask when you are within 6 feet of others.

We will meet at Poets Walk in Red Hook, Dutchess County (120 acres) — it is a designed landscape — a series of “outdoor rooms” separated by stands of trees and stone walls — It got its name because writers like Washington Irving came up with the idea for “Rip Van Winkle” here. The trail is a 2 mile loop with various places to sit and meditate. Relatively flat and in the sun and shade depending on which end of the trail you are on.

It was an awesomely peaceful experience walking through the poet’s walk was beautiful and the different breathing exercises and meditation we did were so relaxing.

This was a fantastic experience. Sara is a warm, unpretentious soul who seemed to care genuinely about the participants on the walk and making the experience special. The place itself is magical, but Sara’s guidance made it so much more so. Sara did a wonderful job of making space for everyone, people of all levels of expertise with meditation as well as all levels of walking ability/fitness. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Sara is engaging and fun and I couldn’t have thought of a better way to enter my 33rd year. The walk was what I needed and I would recommend this a million times if I could. She’s thoughtful and engaging but lighthearted and patient. All love.

The walking meditation that Sara guided me through was a great experience. I learned various meditative techniques that I am excited to implement in my life. The location was the prefect place for something like this and I felt it was accessible to many. Sara was friendly, easy to work with and patient. I am grateful for the time I spent with Sara.
