To many, the Hasidic world is shrouded in mystery and secrecy—well, not anymore.
You’ll kick off your experience at the Hasidic Scribe to examine religious artifacts and get a firsthand look at the creation of holy Judaica items. Then it's off to the 770 Synagogue to get a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of daily prayer services.
We’ll visit a Mikvah bathhouse to hear women’s perspectives on Hasidic marriage and intimacy. If there’s time, you’ll be invited into a Hasidic family home and taste fresh-out-of-the-oven matzah at a bakery.

Several years ago, I launched a campaign called “Unite the Beards” to unify the various demographics that were rapidly changing the face of Brooklyn. I aimed to welcome our new neighbors and grow beyond our differences. This led to the birth of JewishBrooklyn.nyc, which offers visitors from all across the world an inside look at the “people of the book.”
