SeaAffinity uses sailing and water related experiences to challenge youth and adults, including those impacted by disabilities, to develop life skills and realize their potential. Our focus is teaching STEM skills (math and science) to intercity middle school kids through partnerships with community organizations. Our hands-on program engages kids, and gets them excited about learning.

From the very start you'll be on our stable and comfortable 36' Sabre sailboat, Condor. No time spent sitting in a boring classroom! We'll jump right in with a little hands-on theory and terminology. Then we'll cover the important safety information and head out into Baltimore…

We're sailing on the 36' sailboat so it's not likely you'll get wet (unless it is raining). We will sail in light rain, but not in thunderstorms. Come ready to learn and have fun!

We provide all necessary safety equipment (life jackets, etc) Our vessel is examined by the US Coast Guard every year.

Var ni kommer att vara

We start our experience in the Canton area of Baltimore, adjacent to the Canton Waterfront Park and the Korean War Memorial, just across the harbor from historic Fort McHenry. You'll be sailing in the vicinity of the historic liberty ship, the John S. Brown as well as the modern ships. You'll see the industrial side of Baltimore's harbor as well Domino Sugar, Under Armor's headquarters, and even Baltimore's own Statue of Liberty!
