We are Liberty Hill Farm, in Rochester, Vermont! Tours run Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 9 am. Our farm tours are scheduled to coincide with daily chores to allow guests the opportunity to experience daily farm life. Guests will be able to watch the cow milking process and even try their hand at milking! From there, we will explain the journey from cow to milk jug. Guests will learn about the different ages and stages of the dairy cow, from birth through adulthood. We will meet, pet, and even feed baby calves, explore the barns, and meet kitties. Every tour is adjusted to meet the needs and interests of our guests. We encourage our guests to participate hands-on, and encourage questions and ideas! We simply love to share our love of farming and our animals with others! ***All proceeds from our farm tours go directly to our nonprofit organization, Liberty Hill Center for Agricultural Education. *** Other things to note: I only book about a month in advance, so if your preferred date does not appear, check back! Join me for a very unique experience of fishing in New York City's iconic Central Park! We will fish at one of two locations in Central Park. The Meer is an 11 acre lake that borders the Upper West Side, Harlem and Upper East Side and has gorgeous views of the city and a great perspective of Central Park. The Pond is a 3.8 acre lake on the south end of the park and has views of The Plaza Hotel and is close to Times Square. If you are booking as a group (or individual) and would prefer a different time or location in the park than what I have listed, please message me and I can work to accommodate those requests. All fishing equipment, tackle and guidance is included. The lake has multiple species of fish including largemouth bass, crappie, carp, bluehead catfish and sunfish. There are also lots of other animal wildlife we can observe while we are out fishing. I will provide drinks and snacks along the way and we'll take lots of photos for you to remember! Established in 2014, me and my team have proudly been the first to operate Speakeasy experiences in NYC. We will take you to 3 completely concealed and hidden establishments. All 3 locations are completely hidden, no obvious bars in between. Some through vault doors with a required code and some that are down an alleys with multiple doors where you would need to know which door to open. Some even have all the drinks still in tea cups in case the police would raid them back in 1920's and was featured in the TV show Boardwalk Empire for its historical accurate decor and atmosphere. We provide historical facts by history teachers with educational and tour guide licenses. Our facts are solely from cross referenced academic sources. Alpaca interaction and Experience you will hand feed, pet and walk an alpaca on a lead. Traditional art classes can be intimidating. This laid-back atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking to try out their painting skills. Plus, everything is better with GOATS! A brief introduction of the residents and tour of the sanctuary is followed by setting up materials and getting creative. With an approach of “art as therapy”, we can be as instructive or inspiring as each guest needs. We provide the professional art materials, easels, smocks complimentary beverages and the super cute, affectionate goats! You can either bring your masterpiece home or donate it to the sanctuary to help them raise funds.
