We are 40 minutes to Grand Marais and within minutes to several restaurants. Three night minimum. Can be combined with guest house for 2 bdrm plus accommodation. Please contact us for special rate to book both cabins. Whether booked separately or with guest house you will have total property to yourself.

Norfee Cottage is a cozy log-sided cottage, tucked away halfway up the Gunflint Trail on Poplar Lake. The home is just 30 miles from downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota. Poplar Lake is 3 miles long and has 3 entries to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA). This is the perfect place for a peaceful retreat. Norfee Cottage is roomy enough for six but the cozy ambiance would be ideal for four.

The Barn at Poplar is located 40 minutes from Grand Marais, just off the Gunflint Trail on beautiful Poplar Lake! You can either enjoy the lake from the deck, screen porch or take the gentle slope down to the dock for easy access to fishing, swimming, or canoeing. The cabin includes four bedrooms, two baths and a fully-equipped kitchen with brand-new appliances. We have a canoe for guest use and there is a public access nearby if you want to bring your own boat.
