Fully equipped 2 bedroom 1 bath "cabin" more like a small home with all the conveniences (WiFi, DISH TV, refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, etc.) yet being up on top of a mountain next to wildlife and all the activities! Huge wood-burning stove, fanless (safe) wall heaters, cozy electric blankets keep things nice and toasty in the winter! Summers generally don't get warmer than about 84 degrees during the day! NO PETS (severe allergies)
MUST have 4 wheel drive OR at least CHAINS in WINTER!

We bought the cabin in June 2015 after falling in love with the area on our first trip in April 2015. During that trip we visited Zion National Park (it was like summer that day in April), came back to Duck Creek and had 5" of snow that night. We went to Bryce Canyon the next day and had snow again. The following day we went to Kanab to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and had very nice spring/summer weather.....WE HAD ALL FOUR SEASONS IN ONE TRIP!!!! We loved it so much that we went back to look at property and bought our Pine Ridge Paradise AKA AOK’s Kabin (our daughter’s initials).

Just after Thanksgiving we put up a lighted holiday tree and some tasteful holiday decor for our guests to enjoy (we get to enjoy it too…if we make it there during December)

We have done a great deal of work on the cabin and the wooded lot.

We installed 4 Envi High Efficiency whole room convection wall panel fanless heaters for the bedrooms and main living area. They are SAFE for children, slim and silent (no fan). Each bedroom and living area can be controlled separately

2 bedrooms each with king beds and plush bedding
1 large full bath with tub/shower combo in between both bedrooms (separate access to bathroom)
NEW (Jan 2021) Queen plus sofa sleeper in large main living area. Unlike most sofa beds mattresses, two people can sleep comfortably side-by-side with no motion transfer. There is no gap between the mattress and back or arms and no parts of the mechanism are exposed, so it's safe for children. (not in photos yet)

Even though the cabin can sleep up to 6, we really feel our cabin is great for 2-4 people maximum and prefer to keep it that way :)

** Full Kitchen including full size refrigerator, oven, NEW above range/oven full-size microwave (not in photos), dishwasher (needs to be attached to kitchen faucet to run). We do dishes by hand most the time.
**Jan 2021 - We have installed a new stainless/black stove/oven that is more versatile, better at cooking (not in photos yet)
** coffee maker, toaster, blender, large crock pot, plenty of dish ware, cookware, utensils and specialty cooking items too!
**55" Smart HDTV with Blue ray player and surround sound system. DISH satellite.
**Huge, beautiful wood burning stove with blower in large living area (wood provided)....heats up the entire cabin very quickly! There is plenty of wood stacked under deck stairs. There is an axe and other tools for chopping wood. You may want to bring kindling, paper for starting a fire (if you're not familiar with starting a fire)
**Large deck with high quality patio furniture and propane BBQ grill

**Fire pit outside next to the cabin.....make s'mores (yes, we have plenty of marshmallow/hot dog sticks), have a cocktail by the fire, look up and the stars! Plenty of chairs and space.

**Garage under cabin for toy storage (ATV, OHV, bikes etc.) not quite large enough for a car/truck.....great to work on ATVs, snowmobiles, bikes etc.
**Full size washer and dryer in garage (under main living area of cabin, see photos)
**RV parking and plenty of space for vehicle parking.
**HIGH SPEED WiFi Internet
**Plenty of games, books, puzzles, and area guide literature
**All one level living

Wildlife abounds here.....plenty of deer, birds, chipmunks, squirrels, crazy gaggles of wild turkeys rumble around our lot and surrounding vacant lot before taking flight to roost in the trees in front of our deck! They look like lumbering, heavy planes trying to get a running start to fly!

Duck Creek Village, Utah, USA

Our fabulous Pine Ridge Paradise is on a dead end street providing privacy AND very little dust issues from cars and ATVs rushing by!!!! This can be a big issue in our area! The community of Duck Creek is wonderful. We know most our neighbors on our street.

Duck Creek Village is a small mountain town that sits right off Highway 14 on Cedar Mountain in Dixie National Forest and is a gateway to some amazing near by National Parks including Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon. With highway 14 taking you east to Highway 89 you can virtually be to Zion to Bryce in just about an hour and escape the hectic park traffic nearby the parks. The Cedar Mountain town called Duck Creek is full of Pines, Cedar, and Aspen filled meadows that all has an abundance of wildlife. The local wildlife include; Marmots, Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope, Black Bear, Cougar, Turkey, Grouse, and many other small game.

We are native to Utah. We love the outdoors and love the SNOW! I have been involved in the vacation rental business for over 30 years! At one time managing over 90 vacation rentals. Now having my own and managing another I can provide the attention to detail I was unable to provide when handling so many.

Managing our vacation rentals (and others) is my full-time job, not just a side job to make a quick buck! I am a licensed real estate broker in Utah which is required to manage other owners’ property.

I personally go to each unit before and after each stay to make sure everything is just right!

We do not live onsite but will be available for emergencies. We have a local housekeeper and emergency maintenance people that live close by. Email and text is the best way to reach us! We also have great neighbors that keep an eye out (they are not intrusive). Please be respectful of our neighbors...they have our phone number and let us know of any issues.
