Rural Alaskan neighborhood on a well-maintained dirt road just off the highway. Wildlife are frequent visitors. Close to parks, shopping, the Kenai river, and Cook inlet. There are numerous hiking trails within a 30 minute drive.

I'm a full time mother and work full time outside the house, and am a part time artist. Since my husband and I live in this beautiful setting and love to meet new people, we would love hosting you.

My husband, Paul, is a highly school teacher and a writer. He loves to talk about history, science fiction, fantasy, and a variety of topics.

I love to read, watch movies and TV shows, especially science fiction. I love cooking home style meals, I love many types of art, but I primarily create textile and mixed media art.

I love to travel, some of my favorite places are the area around Traverse City Michigan and The Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Bad Lands in South Dakota, Yellowstone in Wyoming, and of course our beautiful state of Alaska.

When you come and stay with us we will treat you as part of the family. We are up for conversations and telling you about our area. We aim to meet your needs and to make your trip go smoothly. If you just want to be left alone to do your own thing that is okay with us as well.
