This is a magnificent Mid Century Modern home built in the 1950's/60's that has recently been renovated with new flooring, bathrooms and a huge new entertainment/ lounge. This overlooks a new undercover outdoor entertainment area that is and fenced off from the pool in summer and the fire pit in winter. This home was built big!! It's typically of its architectural design, displaying enormous rooms, a flat roof, a featured slate wall, interesting brick work with a wonderful high front veranda to sit under. These homes are typical to Palm spring's in the USA and were homes to the Hollywood stars of the era. The back has had a recent huge undercover veranda added onto it with composite decking. Its been decked out with the latest outdoor lounges and tables for outdoor dining and relaxation.

Its a large 6 bedroom home, with revere cycle air conditioners in every room of the property need for Adelaide's extreme weather conditions. There are 16 beds in total at the property and it sleeps up to 20 guests.

The recent addition of the 6th bedroom to the property is the converted garage and is only accessable outside the main house. It also has a TV on the wall with a Wii.

The house itself sleeps 18 however with the two additional single click clack couches and a queen bed in the 6th bedroom (that can be made up on request with single mattress on them for extra comfort), it now sleeps 20 in total.

It has a massive kitchen with a double fridge freezer, dishwasher and a new double oven to cater for large groups. Loads of cupboards. Electric cooking appliances included. You will also find basic condiments.

The property is surrounded by high fences, for your privacy and to keep your pets in.

Wi-Fi modem available for unlimited data to be used. Details will be at the property, and on this site.

It has 3 bathrooms that have been recently upgraded, one of the bathrooms has a new front loader washing machine in it under the bench. The main bathroom has a large shower and bath. The third brand new out door undercover Balinese style bathroom runs off the entertainment area and is fully equip with hot water (it really is Wow!!). You wont need to go outside to access it as it runs straight off the house under the eaves and has direct access to the pool and the 6th bedroom outside.

The fenced off pool area also has its own entertaining area, where you can BBQ, it also has fridge no. 2 in this area for keeping your beverages in or the meat for the
BBQ. . This area is fenced off from the main yard and has a table tennis table in it along with a few other games for the big kids!!

The pool has the latest cleaning robotic technology that keeps the pool spotless. Its is a self chlorinated pool (salt water pool) and i supply heaps of pool toys for the kids including Australian safety life jackets for children up to 45kg. Pool towels are also supplied. Please note the pool is serviced once a month in winter and the robot is taken out. There is a manual cleaner supplied. If you require the robot in winter please advise on booking.

Positioned near the Glenelg golf club, the airport and Glenelg and West Beach. You could also catch a tram to Glenelg or the city off Anzac Hwy. Those of you coming from interstate to see the cricket or the footy the tram drops almost at the oval.

The Highway Inn is the closest pub/nightclub that is very popular for all ages. Corner of Marion Rd Anzac Hwy and is highly recommended for a counter meal.

Bus transportation runs almost at the front of the property on Mooringie Avenue.

There is a Deli across the road if any one is up for a pie and an ice coffee or some amazing Vietnamese rolls.

All guests are supplied with linen and towels. Beds are made up in accordance with how many have booked.

Bedroom 2- 1 queen (a single bed can be added on request)

Bedroom 5- 1 queen bed and a single
Bedroom 6- Sleeps 2 on 2 click clack beds and has a queen bed in it.

Please note events ARE permitted at this property however you must get authorization to have a party, wedding, hens, bucks nights etc. A fee for the night of the party does apply and this will depend on how many you are planning to invite to the premise over and above the number of guests staying. Of course the same house rules apply re noise restrictions and clean up. For example if your planning a pool party music must be turned off at 12am over the weekend.

PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT LIVE ON THE PREMISE. You will have total privacy. You will not find my personal belongings at the house either as this is purely a holiday house.

Late checkout may be authorized providing no one is coming in the same day you depart. There is a $50 per hour fee associated to a late checkout till 12pm at the latest and it must be pre booked.

Keyless entry with your own code supplied after booking. The entire property is yours along with the massive private pool and yard. There is room for o 5/6 cars to park off street in the front yard, or a trailer or even a boat to take fishing or go sailing.

It sits in a pocket near the beach and the airport. No plane noises, planes do not take off or land over this area. It will take you 5 minutes to get to the beach and 5 minutes to get to the airport. Its a 10 min drive to the city and 5 min to the showgrounds straight down Anzac Highway. Adelaide only has one tram service and this runs parallel to Anzac highway so you could take this instead of the bus. Those who know Adelaide will also know the infamous pub "The Highway In"! Well its been revamped and is in walking distance from the pool house. Its a great bar/ restaurant/ nightclub that is very popular with all ages.
