The Buchanan apartment is part of an 1850's farm-style home that is on a small working fruit farm in the heart of all the wonderful things that the Finger Lakes Region has to offer.

Boendet
The suite has it's own outside entrance. We own and operate a farm stand located on the property, so when in season, fresh local produce is very close by! The farm has 5 acres of sweet cherries, grapes, peaches, garlic, fresh herbs and growing yearly.

Guests have a private entrance from the outside. As you enter the apartment there is a small kitchen, bathroom and living room all located on the first floor. On the 2nd floor guests will find a bedroom and bathroom en suite. This entire apartment is private to guests only.

Location, location, location! The Buchanan Suite at Caledonian Farm is located in the heart of Hector! Take a left or a right out the driveway and you will not be disappointed. There are several wineries, breweries, restaurants, National Forest, public beach at the lake, waterfalls and so much more only minutes from this location!!

Born and raised in a small village just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland where my family owned and operated a small full service hotel. Upon leaving home and many travels, I decided to settle in the great Finger Lakes Region in upstate New York. I chose the area because it reminds me so much of Scotland. I can be found picking fruit on the farm or selling gorgeous locally grown produce on the farm stand.
