Smith Lake Bed & Breakfast is a private resort offering luxury accommodations on Alabama's pristine Lewis Smith Lake, the cleanest lake in the Southeast. Smith Lake, a vacation paradise, is Alabama's third largest with 21,000 acres of deep, clear water and 650 miles of rocky shoreline located adjacent to Bankhead National Forrest and the Sipsey Wilderness Area. The B&B offers waterfront suites and fishing gear, floats, kayaks, and paddle boards for complimentary guest use.

I am a retired engineer and my wife Alex is a retired teacher. We have lived and worked in Germany, the Middle East and the Far East. While traveling we stayed in Bed and Breakfasts and Ryokans and loved the experiences. When we returned to the USA, we opened a Bed and Breakfast on beautiful Lewis Smith Lake - the cleanest lake in the Southeast. We have operated the B&B for 11+ years, share the lake lifestyle with our guests and help our real estate clients to find lake homes of their own. Alex is a great cook and enjoys creating delicious breakfasts for our guests.
