Welcome to The Scandi Guesthouse, our newly built extension of our main house.
Our modern guest house is a self-contained unit with a mezzanine bedroom, kitchenette, open living area and bathroom. Guests have their own private entrance, deck and parking. Linen and towels provided. Free Wifi

Our Scandinavian inspired house has been architecturally designed to create a smart and flexible living arrangement.
The guesthouse is a highly insulated modern unit with a mezzanine bedroom (1 Queen- and 1 Single bed), overlooking the open plan living area.
The kitchenette is equipped with a toaster, kettle, plunger and microwave oven.

Albert Town is a short 7- minute drive from the town centre of Wanaka.

Our house is situated nearby the Albert Town Lagoon (3 min. walk) and the Clutha River with the Outlet Walking Track (5 min. walk). Popular riding tracks like Deans Bank or the Hikuwai Loop are not far either.

The Double Black Café is a 10 min walk away and offers great breakfast, lunch and coffee.

The Albert Town Fish Company has just opened up and offers fish and chips take away or dine-in their restaurant.

Hi, My name is Rica, I am originally from Germany, but am now living in Wanaka with my partner Matt since 2016. We just finished building our own house and can now fully enjoy life around Wanaka and Central Otago. Both of us are interested in Architecture, Design, Sports and the Outdoors. I love going for runs and walks along the river with our dog George, Stand Up Paddling and kayaking in the summer time or doing some craft at home. Matt on the other hand enjoys more adventurous activities like kite boarding, paragliding and mountain biking. Both of us like cooking, good food and coffee.
