"Woods to Waves" is what our home in Summerdale offers! Enjoy a quiet new home in a friendly neighborhood surrounded by the lush woods of Alabama. Just 25 minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico, with world-class Gulf Shores and Orange Beaches, known for crystal-white sand, hundreds of restaurants, major nightlife, and top celebrity concerts at The Wharf.

We have a new OWA amusement park, and the Tanger Mall offers a shopper's dream, with top brands of all kinds. Our guest area is beach-themed, completely private, having its own closet , tv with DirecTV, and fully stocked bath. You may use the kitchen, living room and desktop computer in our library.

We have a dog that lives outside for the most part, and joins us for playtime at night. He is very people- friendly.

I love avocados (all varieties but Haas); watching all levels of football; love rock guitar music, love to cook all kinds of foods and desserts, especially Italian. Musician--singing, playing piano and violin. I've enjoyed passing musical inclinations to my children and grandkids.

Retired school administrator from California, and currently substitute teach locally. I volunteer at an agency that helps abused children.

Love travel! We travel throughout the United States. I loved my visits to England and Wales (twice); England and Scotland; and Israel.

I've stayed with Airbnb twice before deciding to host, and love the experience of getting to know people in their own environment, and all the tips they give on sightseeing, food, culture and transportation. I mostly travel by air, but also enjoy road trips.

Being a major "people person," Airbnb hosting suits me perfectly in every way. I have always loved entertaining family and friends. Interestingly, one movie I enjoyed was "The Accidental Traveler." But the "Men in Black " series and "Beverly Hills Cop I & II" along with "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" never fail to keep me screaming with laughter. I also love "Patton" and "Lawrence of Arabia." and I do have several recorded Hallmark movies and Masterpiece Theater shows recorded.
