Simple, clean, only 1-minute walk to the beach. You have AC and private bathroom, a comfortable double bed with mosquito net, coffee, tea, sugar available in the room & complimentary water bottle upon arrival.
Breakfast is included, it is served on the terrace outside your room, (fresh fruit, coffee/tea, fruit juice, 2 eggs cooked as you prefer, 2 slices of toasted bread with butter and jam).

This is room is called "Jodari" (tuna in Swahili) and is on the ground floor.
It is one of 8 rooms in total. If you are more than 2 let me know and we'll host you, no problem, max 24 people.
It is a simple but clean studio with a comfortable double bed, mosquito net, AC, a chair and a small table, a hanger for clothes and a private bathroom with shower.
COVID proof: the staff cleans and disinfects daily, using gloves and mask and keeps social distance.
An electric kettle is available on the terrace - complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and a bottle of water will be waiting for you at your arrival (if you don't see it, ask the staff please).
The rooms all look similar to each other and come with ensuite bathroom, little balcony/terrace outside, and Air Conditioning. Good working Wifi. Linens and towels are provided, such as daily cleaning provided by local ladies.

In order to ensure a smooth check-in, please send us a Whatsapp or SMS with your full name, arrival date and time and if you need to be picked up somewhere to one of the given numbers prior to your arrival (Stefania or Rama) - We will also send you the location on google maps. Or you can find us as Nungwi Beach Studios.

Hi, I am Rama and I am from the most beautiful place on earth: Lamu Island.
If you have never heard of it, please search it online and see what others say about it. Then come to visit us here and experience it yourself!
My business partner is Stefania, she is from Italy and lives in Amsterdam. As often as possible she comes to spend her holidays here in East Africa, in Lamu and Zanzibar, especially to escape the winter in Europe.
She loves this side of the world as much as I do and is the one who keeps the communication flowing. We opened a little hotel in Nungwi and I manage some properties in Lamu.
We are happy to give you a good house or room for your holidays and to show you the good life on these paradise islands. If you need to sit back, relax and enjoy, this is the right place for you.

We love sailing with the dhow at sunset, walking on the beach, swimming, jogging, exercising and eating fresh and healthy food from the islands, especially fish, crab, shrimps and lobster ;-)
