Casa Respinga is located right in the historical center of Monchique. Within a 5 minute walk radius you have local shops and supermarkets, one of the most beautiful viewpoints in town, a bank, a bus stop and a farmer's market.

I was born and raised in Monchique and after spending a few years living and working abroad my heart was pulled back to this wonderful part of the world. Photography, music and art are my passion and I find one can indulge these pursuits here in this semi-rural village. I love hosting people who not only love to travel for its own rewards but who like to relax, unwind and give themselves space to grow and learn - about life in general and about themselves too. Some guests like the tranquility of solitude whilst others like the company of a local host. I'm good with both options and can be invisible or sharing your table, discussing life and telling you all about the local attractions.
