Large English country style home on a lovely winding tree-lined street Close to the Cal Berkeley campus on the north side. Shared fully furnished kitchen. Bathroom shared with one other and another full bathroom downstairs. Short ladder access to large furnished attic with carpet, three windows that open, one with a bay view, double bed, chest of drawers, large round table with chairs.

Beautiful architectural details abound in this Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association landmark home designed by John Hudson Thomas in 1924. A short 6 block walk to UC Berkeley campus, Northern gate. Close walk to the Berkeley 'gourmet ghetto'- Chez Panisse, Cheese Board collective, Cesar's, Saul's, etc., two grocery stores, two pharmacies, a farmers market, shopping, the first Peet's coffee shop and more. The renown Berkeley Rose Garden is just a few blocks away with a wonderful park, tennis courts, picnic areas, walking paths, panoramic views of the bay and of course the hundreds of lovely roses. Close to bus, BART and freeway access, walking and biking in the area is a pleasure too. The Neighborhood is full of beautiful craftsman homes, very safe, residential and quiet. Tree-lined streets, hilly and well landscaped.
