Work/Play/Stay - The Little Red Building is a beautifully renovated building with a 1000 sq.ft. living/co-work space in the front and 2 bdrm apartment in the back. The LRB sits in the heart of historic downtown beside the Woodville Lofts & Studios. Large TV’s in each bedroom and main room, High Speed Internet, DirectTV (w/Sports Package), etc. Free access to the Co-Working space during your stay. Each bedroom has it own keyless entry. Enjoy the rare experience of stepping back in time to a small southern town full of laughter, nicknames, daily neighborly favors, and children playing outside WITH all the modern day conveniences of High Speed Internet, Big Screen Smart TV's, Large Dining/Meeting area, full Kitchen and cozy Bedrooms.
The Little Red Building was built in 1910 as a small grocery, cafe, and shoe shop. The locals refer to it as the "Old Cumbo Frame Shop". Jim Derbes and Jan Katz renovated the building and added the cute apartment to the back in 2013.
Step outside and stroll around the old courthouse square, which was supposedly established in the very early 1800's and experience the sweet community, rich history and huge oak trees. There are a couple of cafe's, shops, banks, public library, pharmacist, town hall, museums, clinic and optometrist, all just a few feet from the front door.

Shared access to a full kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, back deck and co-working space with high speed internet. Each bedroom has a TV with DirectTV and ESPN. The cozy 1000 sq.ft. live/work space also has a 75” Smart TV. Towels, linens, dishes and utensils are supplied. Front door and bedrooms have keyless entry. Back Deck overlooking courtyard of Woodville Lofts with secure parking spaces and many parking spaces in the front, (all free). Entire area is safe and secure. There are 4 Security cameras. Two are located outside on the patio and back yard. One is outside in the front and one is inside in the large main 1000 sq. ft. living/work area in the front. There are NO security cameras located in the apartment portion of the building.

~ Historic Downtown Woodville is beautiful with all of it’s old oak trees and it's cheerful people. Lunch is available within walking distance at Main Street Market and Orchard Cafe. Within driving distance is Subway, Sonic, Flick's, Whitetails, and South of the Border.
~ In the middle of the square sits the Wilkinson County courthouse. Built in 1903 and designed by famous Texas architect James Riely Gordon. The dome in the middle, plus the records room that is encased by metal and surrounded by beautiful windows is a must see for those that enjoy architecture and history.
~ Just a few steps down from the LRB is the Wilkinson County Museum and headquarters of the Woodville Civic club. It was built in 1834 as an office and bank for the West Feliciana Railroad, which was the first interstate line in the South and the first standard gauge railroad in the U.S..
~ On the southern west corner is the African American Museum which is open for visitors every Thursday 10am-4pm in the Old Bank of MS building that was built in 1819.
~ The entire square is nestled in and surrounded by some of the most beautiful old oak trees. The Woodville Civic Club's books "The Journal of Wilkinson County History" volume III was written and researched by Stella Pitts. It has over 300 pages of pictures, facts and stories regarding many homes and buildings in the area, most which are in walking distance and “Plantations of Wilkinson County” which is a beautiful hardcover book with pictures. Both are for sale at the Museum and Main Street Market (both located in the square.)
~ The public library is a short block away on Main St.
~ Clark Creek Natural Area is a public natural preservation area in Wilkinson County with over 700 acres and 50 Waterfalls.
~ Rosemont Plantation Museum, was Jefferson Davis' childhood home and is available to visit by appointment.
~ Woodville Mississippi's Welcome Center is less then a mile away on The Blues Highway 61 and has friendly staff ready to answer any questions.

We moved here a few years ago from North Carolina. Drew visited his Grandparents in Woodville as a child, he quickly became enamored and has always wanted to call this place home. Please check out our Social media page "Wild About Woodville" to learn more about us and this special little town in Mississippi. The Little Red Building Co-Working Space, is a beautifully renovated historic building in the middle of downtown, located just a few steps from the Wilkinson County Courthouse on the east side of the square. Jim Derbes and Jan Katz restored the building in 2013 and added a cute 2 bedroom apartment on the back. The LRB is currently the home for “Wild About Woodville”. It has high speed internet, DirectTV with the Sports Package. 75’ Samsung smart tv, and spacious area to relax, socialize and work. Currently there are rooms for rent as well as the entire building when available.
