Bristol, with its great sights and attractions, is only a 20-minute drive, and a little further afield you can also reach the coastal towns of Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea. Renovated in 2018, the property is a 17th-century converted forge, and you can still see all the old beams that have been left exposed within the property. It later became home to the local wine merchant for the nearby village. There is a lovely walk from the property into the pretty village of Priston, which accommodates a lovely pub, where you can sample the local ales and great food. Priston Mill is 2¼ miles offering two venues for wedding receptions and special events and there are two pubs serving food within 2½ miles.
