Welcome to Seattle! Your quaint and quirky apartment is in a Historic Landmark Seattle building in the heart of Downtown, minutes walking distance away to all the hot spots in town. The apartments are open plan style with historical touches such as a traditional telephone but come with great modern amenities such as a flat screen smart TV, great WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed with lots of pillows and linens. Little touches such as locally sourced coffee, premium tea, olive oil is included. Forgot toiletries or hand sanitizer? Don't worry hand sanitizer as well as environmentally friendly shampoo, conditioner and shower gel from Ginger Lilly Farms is included.

Need to work? Staying for a flex-cation? A laptop friendly workspace and a hdmi cable is included. Long term stay discounts of up to 50% are offered.

Seattle Link Light Rail is 6 blocks away from the entrance (although you’ll have to walk uphill).

✓ 50” Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube (feel free to install apps) – no cable TV
✓ Hotel Grade Wi-Fi (See Wi-Fi info for more details) and a place for your laptop to get work done (hopefully you get to relax).

✓ 1 large box fan and 1 tall fan in the apartment (Seattle is known for not having aircon) and a radiator to keep warm in the winter.
✓ Fresh towels, hairdryer, bath, shower and bathroom essentials provided (all natural & vegan)
✓ Hotel-standard cleaning before you arrive, and once a week for long stays
✓ Hand sanitizer in unit, as well as liquid hand soap/ dish soap

Please note that the elevator is historical and sometimes is out of service, you may have to climb stairs to reach your apartment.

Wi-Fi and TV Information:
The internet is hotel grade and comparable to a quality hotel.
he Internet is able to let you watch Netflix, do emails, surfs or catch up with friends. It is not designed for Call of Duty marathons or downloading all 9 Star Wars films. If you need lots of data, just ask our internet add on!
The TVs are smart TVS with Netflix and YouTube downloaded. You are welcome to download other apps too.
TVS have an HDMI cable so you can connect your laptop as well if you wish.
There is no Cable TV.

Laundry Info:
Laundry is located in the basement. You can take the stairs or the elevator down. Once outside the elevator, take a sharp right around the corner to get to the laundry room. Machines can be operated with quarters or an app that you can download on your phone. Instructions for the laundry machines and driers are posted on the machines. If you need laundry service, please let me know.

Your apartment has an iron and ironing board too.

Parking Information:
Parking is available right outside the building. Metered street parking is available on the street at all times. Make sure you feed the meter since there is a 2-hour limit. Street parking is free on holidays, but not on weekends.
There is also a parking lot right across the street that runs ten to twenty dollars a day.
Lastly, you can park anywhere at any time on Spring St for up to 30 minutes without a tag or meter.
· Seattle has great public transportation. Seattle Link Light Rail is 6 blocks away from the entrance (although you’ll have to walk uphill).

Gym, Pool Information:
Please do check Seattle City Council for updates of what is open .Please check local guidelines for what is open and closed, we follow the city/county/state guidelines –whatever is the safest guidelines.

The below is the usual information, however please bear in mind right not facilities can close and reopen quickly – nothing is guaranteed. Please check local guidelines.
· Gym and pool can be accessed from 7 am - 9 pm Monday through Saturday at the YMCA on Madison and 4th.
· A day pass is $16 and gives you unlimited access to all the facilities and classes offered.
· Exit the building and take a right towards Madison Street. Go down the hill for about half a mile towards 4th Avenue and the building is right at the corner.

The apartment is for you and you only, your own private escape. The apartments sleep up to 4 if 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults
You’ll have access to a friendly team of guest advocates 24/7 in case of emergencies.
The apartment is stocked at the start of your stay for the max number of 3 guests, if you need more items please let us know (small charge may occur)
Check In is contactless and via a digital smart lock called “August” this is an app for your phone you need Bluetooth. You will be sent instructions from me/us in advance and need to download an app, it is easy! Look out for the instructions via message thread/email and if you get stuck call us. We will call you too the day of check in.

Want to arrive earlier? The housekeepers take extra time and care to get everything ready, you may be able to drop bags off earlier but this is not guaranteed, please ask. Remember to check local ordinances for any closures, pool, gym and other amenities are subject to closure at anytime

COVID-19 Update: Enhanced Cleaning Protocols have been adopted with the team at My Friendly Host to make your stay safe. Due to the intense focus on cleaning, the check-out time is 11am and check in 3pm so we have enough time to clean. Any Long-Term Stay is subject to additional cleaning fees of $50 per clean. Please check local guidelines for what is open and closed follow the city/county/state guidelines – whatever is the safest guidelines.

No parties, no loud noises, no smoking, all common areas are monitored. Pool and gym are available for a fee a few blocks away.

Due to the new extensive post-COVID cleaning procedure, the maids will be completely disinfecting the apartment between 11am (check out time) and 3pm (check in time). You are welcome to drop off bags before check-in or after check-out: Please give me 24 hour notice if you wish to keep bags in the apartment between 11am and 3pm.

Check-in prior to 3pm requires you to book the previous night. Check out after 11am requires you to book the following night. Due to the new extensive post-COVID cleaning procedure, late check outs are NOT possible.

Staying past 11am is an overstay: you will be charged $100 per hour for the maids waiting for you to leave, and will be charged for any compensation given to upcoming guests. Please leave on time. Check out is complete when you have fully returned keys back to your host.
