Welcome to my Airbnb! My fiancé Shane and I manage it together. I have lived here in Playa Rincón de San Josesito my whole life. I am one of 8 siblings (Amayas de Osa) that owns their portions of a 100 acre beachfront property estate 6 miles outside of Drake Bay in the rainforest bordering Corcovado National Park. My family has tended this land and farmed (horses, chickens, pigs, cows and ducks) on it for many years. Not to mention over 20 different types of fruit trees (Guanabana, cacao, sapote, bananas, mangos and more) that are still here to nourish us. The first cabins were started by my oldest brother Pincho with Poorman's Paradise in 1996 and each of us has followed in suit. By the age of thirteen (22 years ago) we had stopped farming to work in hospitality. I started helping my mother (Doña Carmen) in the restaurant. She has since passed down the restaurant to me and I have owned and operated it now for the last 10+ years. You can typically find me in the kitchen helping the staff cook and meal prep. We love our home and live to share it with visitors. I have two cabins at the top of the hill (Near my house) that overlook the ocean facing Isla de Caño making for excellent sunsets. Our family has 40 cabins, 3 houses, 1 restaurant, 2 bars and 4 shuttle boats. We offer various tours from Snorkeling at Isla de Caño, Hiking at Corcovado National Park/Sirena, Whale & Dolphin Watching, Waterfall & Swimming, Sport Fishing, Horseback Riding and more. The beach is great for skim boarding, swimming, snorkeling and fishing. Come listen to the Toucans chirping and watch the Sloths nap and mosey about. We have spotted over 70+ birds on the property alone. Being that we are in Osa and so close to the Biological Reserves, this area is one of the most diverse places in wildlife; both land and water in the world. Pura Vida!
