This neighbourhood is the best that you can choose for your Rome vacation, cause it's in the midst of the ancient area, but it's not crowded and touristy, making it the ideal place in order to have a quiet and relaxing night after the daily sightseeing.
You just have to get out of the building in order to see your first ancient Rome monument : the "Portico d'ottavia "!
Turn around the corner and you'll find a lot of restaurants and typical cafes.
Walk for 5 minutes in the North direction and you will find Pantheon!
At the south side, walk for 5 minutes and you will reach Trastevere !
