This quaint and rustic cottage is located on six untouched acres on Edgartown Great Pond. This rental comes with a private boat landing on the property. The pond is just 5 min walk from the cottage with 3 kayaks available for your use. Kayak across the pond to a pristine private part of the South shore beach. Or the public South beach access is just 1.5 miles drive, walk or bike-ride away. Historic downtown Edgartown is 3 miles away. You drive through a small scenic farm and conservation property on the way in to the cottage. Bike paths line the main road to the beach and into town. The location is quiet and secluded.

Enjoy your own private boat landing on beautiful Edgartown Great Pond with sitting area just a short stroll from the cottage.

Very private location, just a mile and a half from famous South Beach.

Only 3 miles to quaint historic downtown Edgartown.

I will meet you when you arrive, give you a tour of the property and pond landing, I am happy to orient you to the area. Other then that you have complete privacy. I am just a phone call away if you need anything.

The rustic cottage heralds back to 1930, originally a duck hunting cabin. The neighborhood has become a private upscale enclave, surrounded by conservation land and a small farm. Access to Edgartown Great Pond is just steps away from the cottage. The pond is great for kayaking and swimming. You can kayak across the pond to a gorgeous and pristine private beach.

I recommend bringing a car. Also renting bikes is fun because the public beach is a close bike ride away and quaint historic Edgartown is only 3 miles from the house. The area is very flat and wide bike paths line the road to beach and town.

There is a bus that picks up and drops off about 3/4 of a mile away. The bus can take you to town (or the beach, which is so close anyway). In Edgartown the bus system can take you all over the island.
