We live at the end of a dead end road approximately 200' above the water with a panoramic view of Okanagan Lake looking North toward Kelowna (but we can't see it). It is a quiet family neighbourhood and we have one immediate neighbour, with no direct view into the suite. The location is well suited to people seeking privacy and some solitude.

We are a working couple who moved to Summerland in 2014 from nearby Vernon. We lived full time in this cabin for 14 months and loved it. This is a unique family property and we feel fortunate to currently own and care for it. It has been in our family for 50 years and we fully expect it to remain so forever. No one, who has ever been here, has not wanted to return. There is a peace and tranquility that comes over most people who visit and we sincerely hope that transfers to our guests. We love Summerland and are eager to share its beauty with our guests. We are quite private and feel strongly that our guests also deserve privacy, so you may see or hear us (and we will always be available if you need us), otherwise we will give you your space. Our work schedules have somewhat flexible hours so we tend to come and go during the days. We don't travel much but we go see our children from time to time. The family tends to come to us and it can be quite busy when they do. We hope you enjoy your stay with us at "Bird's Eye View"

Under din vistelse

We live in an adjacent house (approx 20' away) but we have separate decks, patio and access. We have 2 pets (1 dog and a cat) who are all very social but are separated from the cabin by a fenced yard.... well maybe not the cat!! We'll be there if you need us but we'll leave you to your space.
