Numerous restaurants and two nice pubs are situated close by along with large Tesco and M&S superstores. There is a large park and kids playground within a minute's walk. This neighbourhood is in a part of Surrey with a long and rich history. It is very close to Brooklands - the site of the worlds first motor-racing circuit - where there is now a renowned motor and aviation museum and also a Mercedes-Benz world attraction with driving activities, where kids can learn to drive. London is half an hour away by train. Nearby is the Wey Navigation/Basingstoke Canal where you can walk for miles along the tow path and take boat rides. Other attractions within a few minutes drive are Painshill Park and the Royal Horticultural Society's Wisley Gardens. Within easy reach (around one hour's drive or less) are Windsor Castle, Wimbledon, Hampton Court Palace, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland and Harry Potter World.
