“A great one to take the kids to. Check out the giant squid that spans all 3 floors of the building. The Discovery Centre on Level 1 is the place to go. Take a look into a secret world with the microeye, watch the bees busily making honey, or just enjoy the fun, hands-on experience. There's something for all ages. IT'S FREE and open daily from 11am-4pm weekdays, 11am-3pm weekends and public holidays. http://www.samuseum.sa.gov.au/”

“The premium venue of Adelaide’s CBD with indoor-outdoor dining space and bar, open access to the outside bar and private garden and deck. On the rooftop of the Westpac building at the corner of King William and North Terrace – right in the very centre of the city with a stunning view of Adelaide. 2KW Bar & Restaurant attracts a mainly after-work, corporate crowd – generally aged 35 and over. Some reviews have marked it pretentious, with entry conditions very strict to ensure the “right kind of crowd” – be sure to dress impeccably, as this bar is known to turn people away at the door. However, dubbed as arguably (and by many accounts) “by far the best bar in Adelaide”, it is a must-see.”

“Adelaide's answer to DFO. Harbour Town is where you can grab yourself a bargain. Lots of big brand names with big discounts. On beautiful sunny days Harbour Town can get quite busy, especially on weekends. Ideal time to go is week days to avoid crowds. Hot tip! When you arrive head to Centre Management to grab a discount card which is offered to all visitors. This will give you further discounts at most of the stores in the centre.  ”

“No visit to Glenelg is complete without checking out Glenelg beach. Nice place to go for a swim or to sit on the beach and relax. Great to walk down the pier and even to go for a stroll along the esplanade. For the best walk, head south. You will be able to walk all the way down to Somerton Park along the path or if you are feeling like you want a longer walk the beach goes all the way down to Seacliff. ”
