“What i like most about this must-see in Barcelona is the exhibition they have in the underground of the cathedral with the models Gaudí created to build it During the summer is necessary to book it in advance if you want to go in, if not it would be almost impossible to get a ticket for the day”

Monument / sevärdhet
“Also known as La Pedrera, as the front of the building looks a bit like the face of a quarry, Casa Milà was completed in 1912 and is another emblematic Gaudí building. It’s one of several of Catalan modernist works to be UNESCO listed and was the fourth and final Gaudí building on Passeig de Gràcia. Architects will appreciate the contemporary innovations here, including the self-supporting stone facade and underground car park. It was designed for the industrialist Pere Milà i Camps to be his family home, with apartments for rent on the upper floors. The coherence between the design of the building and Casa Milà’s furnishings is a real joy to see, and it’s all from a time when Gaudí was at the top of his game.”

Konstmuseum
“Surely "the" museum to visit in Barcelona. For the artist and for the building. Imagine Montcada Street, in the Gothic quarter, five mansions united to form a museum, lovely to visit. About Pablo Ruiz Picasso the museum is essential to understand his formative years. The genius of the young artist is revealed to us through more than 3,500 works that make up this permanent collection.”

“Visiting a city like Barcelona without admiring its Cathedral doesn't seem right to me. Also, it is located and the heart of the Gothic Quarter, which is arguably the most popular area in Barcelona. The entire quarter is usually very busy, so try to go there early in the morning or around lunch time (between 1 pm and 3 pm). You should also see the Santa Anna's Church, the Roman Towers, Sant Jaume Square, Pi Square and Roial Square. Don't worry, although it looks like a lot, all these places are fairly close to one another. Leaving from the apartment, it would take you around 25-30 min with the subway.”
