“Crumlin Road Gaol with it's infamous hanging room is a 15 minute walk from the flat. Republican and Loyalist prisoners were locked up here during the Troubles, but the gaol goes back to Victorian times. A great experience and extremely popular. Concerts are run here too at times.”
