På akvariet kan du blant annet oppleve sjøløver og pingviner, filmvisninge og fôringer av dyrene hver dag, de rareste skapningen fra tropisk regnskog, fjærestein i Norge, de store havdypene og arktiske strøk. Skandinavisk restaurang
“Little hidden spot in Bergen: it is a bar AND a good restaurant (even if it does not look at all as such). Interior design 60's tired. You have a small menu but tasty and local food. With real Norwegian tastes. Very nice place to gather after our before a town trip, as couple, friends or family. More info: http://www.pingvinen.no/english.html”

“If you want to get out of the center, this place and the neighbouring branch Bien Snack bar is very charming. Check out the menu before you set off, though. It is a bit of a walk back if you change your mind. Luckily it sits right by a light rail stop, though. They just opened a pizza place in the city center too that is worth a visit! ”

“By far the most iconic sight in Bergen is the colorful facade of Bryggen, the old Hanseatic Wharf first established in the 14th century. As Bryggen was rebuilt after a fire in 1702, the picturesque wooden structures have become recognized as a vital part of Bergen’s cultural heritage, and also the world’s, as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Wharf houses a small museum, shops, restaurants, and cafés.”

History Museum
“This is a museum of original Bergen houses situated right at the sea front and within walking distance from our house. It has a very cosy atmosphere, and you do not need to buy a ticket if you just wish to wander in the streets there and feed the birds or enjoy a piknik at the grass. The cafe at Gamle Bergen Museum is a really romantic place. It is open in the summer from June through August. Quite pricy, but worth stepping by for coffee and cake. They also arrange family events,- check out their website for info. ”
