“An oh-so Berlin beer garden (Biergarten). It's lots of fun, far from my place, but in the thick of things in Prenzlauerberg, which is very yuppy and expat with loads to explore.”

“After a visit to the Technical Museum, why not take a walk through the park. A former railway marshalling yard that has been redeveloped as an urban oasis in the centre of the city. A great place for kids, with basketball courts and a skate park, as well as a huge grassy area to run around in. Watch out for passing trains!”

History Museum
“ In addition to curating Jewish history, the Jewish Museum features collections of Jewish art. The permanent exhibition "Two Millennia of German Jewish History" presented Germany through the eyes of the Jewish minority. The Rafael Roth Gallery is located in the basement of the Jewish Museum Berlin. The collection is now divided into four areas: ceremonial objects and applied arts, fine arts, photography, and lastly, everyday culture. There are also temporary exhibits featuring a broad range of themes, eras and genres. Open every day from 9:00 to 20:00.”

Vietnamesisk restaurang
“Very similar to my favourite Sen Viet's, but with a decidedly ever more down to earth, open and casual vibe, with a blend of local artists, hipsters, tourists, workers, even the local policemen on duty order their meal to go there. Tasty and affordable (€4.90 for a chicken curry!)”
