“Southbank offers something for everyone any time of the day or evening. During the day it offers great pools for swimming - including a man made beach overlooking the city (where else would you find that?), free bbq's for picnics, cafes and coffee shops, green spaces to sit and relax or walk across the road to the cultural precinct with its Art Galleries, Entertainment venues, Museum and State Library. On weekends in the evening it's a magic place filled with music, street markets and restaurants. Our favourite way of getting there are by bus on the nearby Southeast Busway. Brisbane has an unusual form of transport, our famous Catamaran Ferry boats called CITY CATS. A ride on a citycat is especially nice in the evening as the sun is setting and you can hop on one at Southbank and take a ride up or down river. ”

“The Brisbane Wheel is a great way to get a beautiful view of South Bank, Brisbane River and some of the city. It's a quick experience but definitively a must do when visiting Brisbane.
