Godisaffär
“Based in the picturesque village of Ballater, in the heart of the Dee Valley, Dee Valley Confectioners are a long established and well known family company producing in traditional hand-made sweets. Established by the Skene brothers, Alfie and Harry, in 1965, the actual sweets have hardly changed over the years and the names are recognised by generations of Scottish people. Hand-made boilings are a speciality, in traditional flavours such as market candy, bullseyes, humbugs, soor plooms and Edinburgh rock. Original open top copper pans are still used to produce the best and most natural results.”
