Best things to do in Colorado Springs

“Colorado Springs is home to America’s ONLY mountain zoo. Located at 6,800 feet above sea level, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo offers breathtaking views of the city and of its 750 animals. The unique design of the Zoo’s animal exhibits gets guests closer than ever before. Hand-feed one of the largest reticulated giraffe herds in the world, watch grizzlies swim with trout, hop next to red-necked wallabies and get hands on with some of the Zoo’s smaller residents in The Loft. Have a WILD adventure at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo – see the animals, ride an antique carousel, eat a gourmet lunch at the Grizzly Grill and ride the Mountaineer Sky Ride to the Zoo’s summit. Visit 365 days a year for family fun.”

“We love this little gem. The craft beer is excellent and the food is amazing. Everything is handcrafted and they source everything possible locally. Also, the beer garden is great for those summer days/eves. I know the owner and they are great people. They even won gold in the World Cup of Beer. (yes that is a thing) You will be very happy your went. ”

“If you're looking for a country bar in town this is the one. With a dance floor on the first level, pool tables on the second and karaoke on the third there is something for you. Bars are on all three levels. Open Wed (All ages 18+), Friday, Saturday (21+)”

“Our 10/10 go-to for happy hour. It's hard to argue with $3 wines, $1 off drafts, $7 cheeseburger meal and $3 crispy fries that will make you commit to a relationship. Alyssa digs the house wine (red or white, she doesn't discriminate) and Ryan likes a good 'ol draft beer or whiskey coke.”

“Our total fave for a fun drink on the town. Brooklyn's is a tasting room disguised as a habadashery. Sorry, you can't buy any ties, only phenomenal specialty cocktails. Alyssa sticks to gin, Ryan leans into whiskey - both made in house by local lee's spirits.”
