“One of nature's wonders, it's a must see while in Colorado Springs. We highly recommend going by bike or vintage scooter as parking is a challenge during the Summer months. You can rent a low-power scooter from Vintage Scooter Adventures which is located at The Garden of the Gods Trading Post, 324 Beckers Lane, Manitou Springs, CO. Fun times, great rates, wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend!”

“Pizza Restaurant • $$ • 4.5 star rating • 22 minute drive ——————————————————— WARNING It’s not everyone’s specialty, but this pizza is thin-crust and pizzas come in only one size. Although it’s thin, it’s packed with yummy flavors.”

Hot Spring
““This small town in the Rocky Mountain foothills (about 6 miles northwest of central Colorado Springs) has rejected urbanization. Instead, Manitou Springs – now a National Historic District – remains a charming hippie-era haven filled with art galleries, funky boutiques and outdoor cafes.” Manitou Springs has different cultures of food and restaurants. We also recommend Colorado Custard Company if you’re craving some ice cream! Aside from the food, there are fountains spread out through Manitou that pour out naturally filtered mountain water that you can drink from; some say that these waters naturally aid healing.”

“Hike into the park and in minutes it is as if you are in the middle of a remote vista, but you are actually in the middle of a city. THE FAMOUS RED ROCK FORMATIONS IN THE THE GARDEN OF THE GODS ARE EVEN CLOSER!”

“This is a great city park to take kids. They have a fabulous playground and the large metal circular sculpture that you can see from the highway. This doubles as water feature around noon in the summer for kids to play in- so bring towels, sunscreen, and a picnic lunch.”
