“Iconic German Village. Among the largest independent bookstores left in the U.S. and it is open until 11 p.m. If you can't find the book here, it isn't a book! Not really, but the assortment appears endless and the "store" - really a house - goes on and on and on.”

Capitol Building
“The Ohio Statehouse was built in the middle of the 19th century and is where Senators and Representatives meet today to pass state laws. The Senate is on the north side of the Rotunda and the House of Representatives is on the south side. I worked there twice, the first time as an aide to an Ohio Senator, the second time was as a staff reporter covering all of state government but especially the legislature. Historic paintings, a museum devoted to candidates, parties and politics, and a sales shop full of Ohio-themed stuff, so buy your Ohio flag here, it's the only pennant shaped flag of the 50 states. Parking is available and from Gahanna to the city center its 12 minutes without delays.”
