“This is wonderful old Inn and restaurant with all the ambience of Vermont! This has a tavern for more casual dining with their own menu and a Fine Dining area that is quiet and perfect for slower dining. The food is fantastic! The service is great! A favorite of the locals as well. ”

“The restaurant at Barrows House has a great bar with modern cocktails and a great beer & wine list. Food is always delish and they offer a fun atmosphere. Make sure to say Hi to Scott the bar manager - he's a friend & lots of fun. Also, if you're a trivia buff - Scott hosts Trivia Night on Thursdays. ”

Farmers Market
“Do you want to go home with fresh, organic VT eggs, organic veggies, organic grass-fed, pasture raised meat? The Dorset Farmers Market is not to be missed - local farmers & cheese makers, apples, cider, art, flowers, chocolate, granola & summer strawberries - you can eat your way through the market and bring home some delicious VT foods. You need to get there early to get the eggs - they're totally worth it! Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. -- In the Summer - the market is at HN Williams Country Store on Route 30 & in the winter, it's at JK Adams, also on Route 30 . Both locations are about 10 mins from the house. ”
