“Queen of Tarts is one of Dublin's most popular eating destinations, so much so the owners had to open a second location with more seating! They offer a wide variety of baked goods including Gluten Free options! You can also go there for lunch or afternoon tea. Great coffee and a really cozy atmosphere make this place one of our favorites. Plus the staff are super friendly!”

“Bibis - 14A Emorville Ave - 25 minute walk. Popular spot in the middle of the trendy neighbourhood of Portobello, this is a fantastic spot with really delicious food, the turkish eggs are a particular favourite of mine. Portobello would be a good stopping off point on your way into town but be warned Bibi’s can be extremely busy with long wait times. ”

“A rising name in the competitive Dublin food scene, Brother Hubbard boasts an impressive array of food. Originally starting with cakes, they've now added breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Guaranteed to find a tasty dish if you go here and it's on the way to the city centre from Rathmines. ”

“Our sushi is made fresh by order and never leftover from the previous Hour. Not all sushi shops are as dedicated to freshness as we are at Musashi Sushi. The only thing better than fresh, mouthwatering, delicious sushi, is paying less for it! ”

“Noshingtons - 186 South Circular Road - 20 minute walk. Just reopened and completely refurbished after a fire gutted the building, it’s a family friendly spot where you can check out the work of celebrated Irish photographer Barry McCall. They also have a smaller outpost in Harold’s Cross Park, also a 20 minute walk away ”
