“Big variety of tasty pastry, sweets, a good quality lunch buffet (take away or eat there), coffee bar and reasonable prices. It is 3 minutes by car from home (please note that part of Kennedy Avenue is actually renamed to Kapparis Avenue years back. Although both names appear on maps it is actually one certain street) ”

“You have go to to go into the walled city of Famagusta it is so enchanting. You can walk around the top of the fortress walls, there is an area just inside the main entrance where you can pay a small fee and go inside the walls, you can walk around the moat, you can go up Othello's Tower which is a lookout tower in the harbour-wall and look out over the large ships harbour, you can enter the city's mosque which used to be the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas and visit the Canbulat Museum. There is also a myriad of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within the fortress walls. The place really is lovely.”
