Park
“So incredibly peaceful - we've spent a lot of time just aimlessly wandering and enjoying the open spaces, gorgeous trees and the cute cafe hidden towards the back of the park. Perfect for dog walkers who are always respectful and almost always clean up after themselves. Great for a light jog, too! Situated just on the opposite side of the main Kilmarnock Rd - 2 minute walk, 1 minute jog :-)”

“Stunning views across the whole city from here. Another regular running route and mountain biking trails that were used for the Commonwealth Games.”

“North Kelvin Meadow. Is a very active space that our community have fought to keep. Its a allotment. And a children's wood. With many activities on at various times.. ”

“There is a bouldering park here which is great fun for all ages (from beginner to experienced). The "easy" boulders are fine for most, bring your own ropes and harnesses for the more difficult ones. There's also a very good playground, a nice little boardwalk along the river and a wee food/coffee stall.”

“Take a book and sit by the pond to read, or have a little stroll in the alleys; it's lovely!”

“it's just round the corner and there are brilliant places for kids to explore and play. You can jog round it, meet local dogwalkers, find the local forest playgroup making mud pies... and build yourself a den! Also good for barbecues and picnics on a summer evening.”
