Skate Park
“John Chabot Park is a 3 minutes walk from the complex. We spend many sunny summer hours there enjoying water sports, having picnics and soaking in the sun and scenery. In the other seasons it is a great destination for a walk. We take our coffee and sit on at a picnic table and gaze at the scenery. In downtown Invermere you will find Pothole Park. It is a great place to take a break from shopping. There are also many planned activities centered in this park. If you kids have skate boards or scooters be sure to take them to Mount Nelson Athletic Park to the west of the downtown area. ”

Bar
“I am told fun bars right in the Invermere town site are Shakman’s Bar and Lounge, 722 13th St., and Station Inn Pub, 1701 6th Ave., and Copper City Saloon, 1310 7th Ave. We like to go to the Legion at 525 13th St. Invermere 250 342 9517. If you don’t have a membership you can ask someone at the bar to sign you in. They have a great supper on Friday nights with terrific home made food and fun draws. Phone for a reservation. ”
