“Walking around Lisbon will provide an insight into its history, but a visit to the Lisbon Story Centre allows the city to tell its own story. Located in Praça do Comércio, it’s an innovative multimedia experience that dramatically recreates Lisbon’s most significant historical events.”

“For decades Old discos like Tokyo, Rotterdam and bars like Copenhagen or Viking were open until morning. Slowly, things started to change. Tokyo and Jamaica became trendy and Pensão Amor was considered the “Next big thing!”. Like a freight train, Cais do Sodré was renewed: small cosy places like Sol e Pesca or Pensão Amor were getting lots of good buzz. The area is crowded with people leaving Bairro Alto as bars close earlier there while here some of them are open until morning! It’s crowded even on weekdays. Everything has changed for the good. On top of that, Rua Nova do Carvalho was painted pink, so you can’t miss it! That’s the revenge of the ugly duckling.”

“I did not know the existence of this museum so far and what a shame! The entrance is very accessible (3 euros) and gives access to a collection full of rarities. Do not think you will see only jars and scales. It is indeed a collection that impresses by its comprehensiveness. There is a restaurant/esplanade that is open from Adamastor and is well known. It is to enjoy and enter the museum.”
