“Probably one of, if not my favourite neighbourhood of central Lisbon. Slightly removed from the main drag but still in the middle of it all. Great restaurant and array of shops surrounding the main garden square and just of it. Go and explore and immerse yourself in the area around it. Just naming a few places such as: Embaixada, Casa Pau-Brasil, Cevicheria, Pavilhão Chines, Tapisco, Memmo, 2 quiosques on the square, etc etc, etc!”
“Beautiful ruins of a large church without its roof, a dramatic reminder of the 1755 earthquake that destroyed parts of Lisbon. An eerie place, perfect for beautiful photos. The museum is very interesting.”
“In the heart of Principe Real, in the center of Lisbon, there is a well kept secret ... An oasis of peace and tranquility protected from urban movement, in a relaxed atmosphere where relaxation is inevitable. An authentic journey into the heart of India where, briefly, the city world and its concerns disappear and enter a Shanti state. Offering a variety of delicacies, in a fusion menu between the East and the Mediterranean, Lost In is a place to discover and visit for snacks or simply the atmosphere that offers to drink a cocktail in a true oasis.”
“ It symbolises the rebirth of a new Lisbon after the tragedy of the earthquake, fire and tsunami in 1755 that razed what stood before. It is only 1,8 km from hotel Vila Queirós. ”
“Stunning view of Martim Moniz, and Castelo Sao Jorge. Live DJ sets, restaurant with a classic menu and reasonable prices given the location. ”
“It opens at 8PM as a dining destination, thanks to its two restaurants (one for sushi, another for meat), and at around midnight it turns into a bar and club partying until 4AM. It's found next to the Kais restaurant, which belongs to the same group, and is the perfect destination for a cocktail on the waterfront, often to the sound of national and international DJs. The sand and the location make this as close as you get to the beach in the center of the city. It opens from Wednesday to Saturday (also on Tuesdays and Sundays during the summer).”
