“This wine bar has an amazing selection of wines in a very urban and trendy place. Their food is also delicious. And like every spots on Rose Ave, you can walk or bike there from the bungalow!”

“Sunset Beer is an awesome bar and tap-room. If you've never been to a tap-room before, they have rows and rows of individual cans and bottles. Once you make your selection, you can either take it home, or bring it over to the bar area and pay a corkage fee to drink it right there. It means drinks are a lot cheaper than they would be at other bars. Plus, their happy hour special is no corkage fee! So during the week, average cost of a drink is about $3 for a nice beer. Hard to beat! FYI, they close early (latest is midnight), so this is better for the start of your night or for a post-dinner night cap.”

“Great independently owned wine shop considered one of the best in LA. Walk here in 15/20 min! Super fun inexpensive unpretentious wine tastings weekly! Mon 5-9pm is cool because super trendy (and really good!) Triple Beam Pizza has a pop up oven set up outside. You order be the inch and they will bring it in to you to enjoy with your wine. The $15 tasting includes wine, cheese, bread, dip etc. Thursday 5-9pm there are $15 flights with brea and butter and there is a food truck outside! https://www.silverlakewine.com/index.php/tastings/”

“Forage serves the sort of food you could eat everyday: perfect rotisserie chicken, buttery quiche and lovely prepared salads like quinoa with white beans and cherry tomatoes. Don’t miss the vibrant green mix of cavolo nero and arugula in the barest of bright lemon-olive oil dressing, finished with salty feta and bread crumbs”

“I'm not sure why it's only giving me pics of Starbucks to choose from, but this little wine shop has an amazing little deli with lunch sandwiches to beat the band. They only serve until they run out of bread and they always do, so get in there and check it out!”
