“Bodega Taqueria y Tequila is located on Miami Beach off of Alton Road at 1220 16th Street right behind Starbucks. The late night taqueria serving up authentic tacos is steps from famed Lincoln Road Mall and is the perfect before or after movie date spot. EXPERIENCE Bodega’s menu, available for take-out and sit-down lunch and dinner daily, is the brainchild of Chef Bernie Matz, a connoisseur of the taco. Centered around flame broiled meat cooked on a rotating spit, tacos and tortas range from the traditional meats topped simply with red onion and cilantro, to the unexpected, like The Panza with guajillo braised pork belly, charred onions, fried jalapenos, cilantro and red mole sauce. Bodega serves “Shepard Style” Mexican street food straight out of a vintage Airstream taco truck, filling the areas void for vibrant, authentic Mexican cuisine. With Latin hip-hop blaring in the background, Bodega specializes in mouthwatering tacos and tortas, homemade sodas and authentic beverages in a dynamic, eclectic Mexican “puebla” inspired setting.”

“Please go to Ball & Chain to dance "salsa brava" lived at any time of the day have a Mojito if you want. It's a little expensive but so good! In the same Calle 8, closer to Downtown Miami, you can visit Little Havana, full of Cuban stores, older people playing domino, its very picturesque.”

“The Miami institution has been the unofficial town hall for El Exilio since 1971. However, this Calle Ocho icon serves more than just cafecito. Its Cuban sandwich ($6.50), with classic fixings such as sweet ham and Swiss cheese, is a winner with the fast-casual crowd, and a traditional roast pork Cuban-style ($10.95) is a hearty meal served with rice and beans. But if you simply want to stop by the to-go window — AKA la ventanita — for croquetas, no one will judge you”

“Speakeasy bar that is only identifiable by a red lightbulb in the alley. Really cool ambiance once inside. Stick to basic drinks like beer or classic cocktails as the bartenders at this location are a far cry from mixologists based on my experiences. Super chill spot and very casual with an alluring ambiance. Great happy hour too. Drinks only; no food. DJ comes around on select late nights (Thursday-Saturday, I believe). ”

“1.9miles/3.06km or 6minutes via Biscayne Blvd and NE 2nd Ave A 1930s-era house with patio seating sets the stage for refined versions of Greek & Turkish cuisine. The atmosphere is very personable, with around 50 tables almost always packed. Their food is fresh and delicious. They grow their own vegetables in the backyard garden area! The service is outstanding. Warm, inviting home-like atmosphere. Dine in the garden under the stars, or secure under white clouds of tarp. Or, in the dining room of the house; like in a home in the Greek islands. Romantic, delicious, charming.”
