“ Cheekwood is a 55-acre botanical garden and art museum located on the historic Cheek estate. Originally built as the home of Leslie and Mabel Cheek in 1929, Cheekwood is one of the finest examples of an American Country Place Era estate. Since being converted into a museum of art and botanical garden in 1960, Cheekwood has presented world-class art exhibitions, spectacular gardens and an historic estate unlike anything else. Each year, Cheekwood welcomes over 225,000 visitors, making it one of the city’s top cultural attractions, with approximately 14,000 member households. Visitors enjoy family activities, programming for all ages and year-round festivals celebrating the four seasons. From 150,000 blooming bulbs in the spring to one million holiday lights in the winter, there’s always something to see at Cheekwood.”

“During the months of May, June, September and October, Centennial Park has free, live music concerts in the Park. Musicians Corner is a great way to spend a Friday night or Saturday afternoon listening to local musicians (FOR FREE). Definitely recommend this. Centennial Park is a must see. It's an exact replica of the Parthenon in Greece. Go inside and see Athena as well.”

“If you love to hike, the Warner Parks are made for you. If you're looking for a short walk in the woods or a more strenuous hike Percy and Edwin Warner Parks have it. Feel free to ask me for recommendations on where to go. I hike with my dogs about 5 days a week.”

“A salvaged bit of land has turned into a very popular destination for locals and travelers alike. Radnor boasts nature trails that are well-kept and at its center is beautiful Radnor lake. The paved trail circles the lake. It's a popular destination and this can make parking a challenge. Recommend going during the week in the morning or late afternoon.”
