Best things to do in Phuket

Museum
“Phuket Trickeye Museum is an interactive 3D painting exhibition offering amazing photo opportunities and great fun for the whole family. Located on the corner of Montri and Phang Nga roads (2 minutes’ walk from In PHUKET House) in a large two-storey building (which used to be a popular movie theatre until 2002), Phuket Trickeye Museum features a gallery of about 100 painted and sculpted scenes using trompe-l’oeil (French for ‘deceive the eye’) techniques, placing visitors in hilarious unreal world-like situations.”

“Phuket's biggest and most interesting Buddhist Temple to visit. Not far from the Big Buddha, we recommend visiting both together.”

“Phuket Philatelic (Post Office) Museum was Phuket's first post and telegraphic office and is located on Montri Road in Phuket. The facility has been renovated and upgraded into a philatelic museum, exhibiting old postal equipment, old phones, and old Thai stamps. A good place to take the kids and learn about Thailand's Postal Service history and have a relaxing day doing so.”

“Thai Hua Museum is set in a splendid well-preserved Sino-colonial mansion located on Krabi Road in Old Phuket Town. Originally used as a Chinese-language school, it went through an entire renovation in 2008 and reopened as a museum the same year. Nowadays it also hosts art exhibitions and is used as an occasional function hall during the annual Phuket Old Town festival for instance. ”
