“Located downtown, this intimate area features many restaurants – not all Italian. Evening is the best time to stroll around. But take Lyft/Uber or a taxi, not your vehicle!”

Italiensk restaurang
“I actually prefer this Italian restaurant over the ones in Little Italy. It's located in Southpark in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The restaurant is packed and loud and there's always Italian families dining there. Buona Forchetta will not disappoint. You may have to wait to be seated.”

“At this burger joint recently featured on Food Network's "Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives" Hodad's serves up huge, juicy, gourmet burgers without attitude. The atmosphere is dive-like with license plates and memorabilia lining the walls and music blasting. At this Ocean Beach location is super casual! If you're lucky enough to grab a table, make sure to not linger as a line snaking out the door is anxiously awaiting their burger heaven. Don't forget to pair a beer with your burger or an awesome shake.”

“The bay provides a spectacular backdrop to a charming collection of specialty shops, art galleries and restaurants. Originally known as the old Ferry Landing, visitors and locals alike come to enjoy the palm-lined pathways and open-air amusements. Whether you’re hungry for fresh seafood or California cuisine, there’s a variety of fine dining and casual eateries to choose from. Spend some time at the waterfront park to fish off the pier, relax in the grass, or build a sand castle at the beach. Or you can just lounge under a tree and watch as the many different boats travel in and out of the bay.”
