“This old-school movie palace has been a fixture in the Castro neighborhood since 1922. The grand interior and signature pre-show organ music are worth the price of admission alone — but stick around for their ever-changing roster of classic films, spirited sing-alongs, and rotating film festivals. Absolutely one of our favorite destinations in SF!”

“The main road along Grant Ave is a tourist trap, but there are some great restaurants and shops along side streets. Stockton Street is where most locals do their shopping for groceries; be sure to sample some of the dim sum and other specialties offered in the many bustling shops.”

“Iconic tourist spot in SF. It is very touristy but it's lovely to walk around, see the shops, the bay, and the marine life.”

“- Incredible walks, hikes and views!!! Closest entrances are on El Camino and 25th Avenue or Lake and 15th Avenue. However - I usually drive and park. In addition to the walks there are also loads of activities in and around here - such as: The Disneyland Museum, Golden Gate Bridge Visitor Center and Gift Shop, beaches, Presidio golf course, a hidden bowling Alley (last two usually need a reservation) and of course - more restaurants. Again, the list goes on and on. ”
