““Paceville” is a very deceitful name as it means “peace village”, and it is anything but that! If you’re looking for a crazy night out then look no further as this is THE place you want to go. Clubs, bars, strip clubs, fast food joints, you name it, this place has everything you would ever want, latched together with a big shopping center at the end of the paceville stairs comprised of even more bars, restaurants, arcade hall and shops of course. If you want to party, this is where you should go as it is and the “red-light district” of Malta!”

“The Church of Santa Maria dell’Ammiraglio, founded around 1140, was born as a private chapel dedicated to the Virgin and is the symbol of the purity of the Orthodox Byzantine genius. The Norman period plant is characterized by a Greek cross plan inscribed in a square and surmounted by a dome in the middle. Inside, the church is adorned with Byzantine mosaics made between 1143 and 1148, among the most amazing in the panorama of the production of the Comnena period, whose iconographic conception reflects the commission of Admiral Giorgio d’Antiochia, an extraordinary personality; he spoke Arab and Greek and belonged to the Byzantine-Orthodox church.”

“La piazza ospita una bellissima fontana in origine destinata a una villa toscana ed è per questo che ha delle proporzioni eccessive rispetto alla superficie della piazza. Una bellezza straripante. The square houses a beautiful fountain originally intended for a Tuscan villa and that is why it has excessive proportions compared to the surface of the square. An overflowing beauty.”

“The Neapolis Archaeological Park is located on the northern side of Syracuse modern city, on the Viale Paradiso. Once inside, you can admire: • The Roman amphitheatre, almost completely carved out of the rock. In the past, it was hosting wild beasts and gladiator fights. • The Greek theatre that can hold up to 20,000 people • The altar of Hieron II, dedicated to Zeus and used for animal sacrifices • The Ear of Dionysius (Orecchio di Dionisio in italian). It is a old limestone quarry of more than 20 meters high. Its name comes from the entrance shape, which looks like the inside of a giant ear. Legend has it that Denys the tyrant of Syracuse was there to listen to the conversations of his prisoners. Inside, the echo is impressive.”
