Port
“While the Jaffa port has been around since the start, Tel Aviv has developed a newer northern attraction at the opposite end of the sandstrip. During the day, Namal Tel Aviv (the Tel Aviv Port) is surrounded by action: Tel-o-fun bikers on their way to Park HaYarkon, shoppers enjoying the outlet overload, families waiting in line for weekend brunch, and friendly fisherman catching their own. At night, the area’s hangars transform into Tel Aviv’s most happening nightlife scene, hosting crazy parties, community events, and all-night Jazz jams. Come see for yourself at the city’s trendiest hotspot. ”

“The most prominent shopping mall in Tel Aviv. If you want to go on a shopping spree in an air-conditioned space - that's the place to go. It can take 20-30 minutes to walk over there, but it's just a few minutes by taxi, and they will all know where it is. A lot of bus lines will stop there too.”

Bus Station
“THE 7TH FLOOR is a non-profit project which aims to raise public appreciation of street art by displaying some of Israel's best graffiti artists (and guest-artists from abroad) in one of Tel Aviv's busiest venues: the Central Bus Station. Over 1000 square meters of color, images and texts have been sprayed, painted and stenciled by dozens of artists on the concrete walls of the building's 7th floor, where thousands of passengers enter and leave the city each day. More than an exhibit, this project aims to change the attitude of local residents and other Israelis and tourists toward the neighborhoods of south Tel Aviv where Israeli street art flourishes. We want to transform the Central Bus Station in the heart of this area, from a symbol of urban blight into an open museum that residents can be proud of, attracting art lovers from around the world”

Bus Station
“For most destinations, you don't need to drag yourself all the way to the central bus station in south Tel Aviv; this bus terminal has buses going to many to other cities, including the 480 line to Jerusalem (which is preferred over the train, as it's a longer journey and it doesn't take you to the center. They're now working on new train tracks to fix this). The adjacent "Tel Aviv Sabidor-Merkaz" train station can take you to Haifa and Beer Sheva quite quickly and without traffic.”

“During the day the place serves as a trendy cafe, always packed with business meetings and walk-ins. Food is good and they offer business lunch during the week. At night the place turned into a trendy bar. Don't forget to check the back space and the yard. In certain evenings there are live music shows there.”

“5 minutes ride on bus line #16 or 15 minutes on foot. It acts also as a 4 floors shopping mall. There are a lot of clothing stores, artistic items, bazaars, pharmacies, big supermarket, shoes shops. Everything there is very cheap!!! With just 1 bus from the central bus station you can reach everywhere in Tel Aviv and get to every city in Israel. Recommended site is Jaffa Walkway which containing ancient structures from BC. There is also the very touristic Flea Market. You can also easily visit the Western Wall in Jerusalem or the astonishing Botanical Gardens in Haifa.”
