“This highly popular green-thumbed oasis is a 22-hectare, 255,000-plant idyll that offers a strollable web of pathways weaving through specialized garden areas: the Rhododendron Walk blazes with color in spring, while the Korean Pavilion is a focal point for a fascinating Asian collection. Save time to get lost in the hedge maze and look out for the herons, owls and turtles that call the park and its ponds home. Informative guided tours are also offered here daily from April to October.”

Trädgård
“Located in the heart of Chinatown, this home garden offers serenity, history and great chi. Modeled after private gardens in the city of Suzhou, China, the Garden embodies the Taoist philosophy of yin and yang, where every element-light, texture, vegetation - is balanced and symbolic. The architecture of the pavilions, covered walkways, terraces and viewing platforms evokes Ming Dynasty classical design. Rocks and water are integral elements, while trees and plants, all have symbolic connotations. Two of the Garden's most intriguing elements are the 43 leak windows (each one has a different lattice pattern) and the groupings of Tai Hu rocks, imported from China's Lake Tai. Named the World's Top City Garden by National Geographic.”

“Both the Stanley Park and West Vancouver Sea Walls are amazing places to take a stroll at waters edge and watch the myriad of people stills the wall. Enjoy fantastic views from the waters edge. Spot the odd seal, kayaker or stand up paddler. Great way to connect with the people who live in this community. ”

“An amazing running path to Southlands will take you through a hidden area of Vancouver. Stables and nurseries can be found throughout. Don't be surprised to see folks riding their horses through the streets. It's a sight to see. Be sure to make it as far as the end of Deering Island. At the end is an amazing and tranquil water view. ”
